At the age of five, I began tagging along on my dad's bee adventures. I shared my bee knowledge with classmates, and eventually graduated to teaching kindergarten. I reentered the world of beekeeping with the introduction of an Eco Bee Box in my backyard. Soon, I ventured beyond the classroom and found myself caring for over 100 hives in the Santa Barbara area. I soon made the transition from a full-time teacher to a full-time beekeeper. I continue to educate through classes, presentations, and mentorship, fostering deep interests in bees and beekeeping.
Rooted in the philosophy of treatment-free natural beekeeping, my focus lies in fostering the vitality of bee colonies and their interconnected ecosystem. Without resorting to chemical interventions, I employ natural methods to enhance bee health, allowing robust colonies to naturally yield surplus products for communal sharing.
